5 Un-put-down-able books you must read
Have you ever felt a moment of ecstasy while reading a book ? I get enchanted or I would rather describe it as having an intellectual orgasm in my head when I stumble upon those special books that I just can't put down until I absorb all of its wisdom and beauty.
These are a list of 7 books among the ones that I went about reading smoothly in less than 3 days because I was so immersed that I didn't even notice or cared about the time.
1. The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay
The book has 400 pages though you'll feel like you need more after finishing it. This is one of the books that sticks with you, easy to read and easy to digest, yet it triggers your imagination and makes you realize that our past what we call bad past experiences were blessings in disguise . The book will teach you that NOTHING can be gained from closing our hearts, and the miracle of starting again and giving it another chance. Read More
2. The Thousand Dollar Tan Line by Rob Thomas
Put your dictionary down, grab a seat, lay down and start reading this one! Once you do, you won't be able to stop until you reach the last page. This is not some high literature book that you'll need to consult the dictionary every time, it's simply written, yet in a very enchanting way. Read More
3. The Likeness by Tana French
The investigation of a crime turned out to be viral and absurd. Detective CASSIE Maddux was frightened when she found out that the victim resembles her. Worse, the victim was using an "aka" that Cassie used earlier in one of her cases. The book was so mysterious and I was eager to know what will happen next. 4. Rules of Civility by Amor Towles
It would be so boring to know or can easily assume what's coming next. I liked this one because I couldn't expect what's coming and My jaws were down when I came to the end. THIS IS one of the most fascinating literary fiction books out there . Do not disregard it just because it's out of reach. Read More
5. What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty
I like being immobilized in my bed especially with the company of a light-heartening book such as this one. This novel was so cheerful and deep, I finished it in less than 3 days. Read More
